I just spent thirty dollars on stamps for my Save-The-Dates. Stamps. Little bits of sticky paper.
Tyler and I spent over three hours during my Thanksgiving Break looking for invitations and save-the-dates. I got weirdly panicked that if we didn't pick the right type of invitation, it would wreck everything. I'm not sure why. I don't really get stressed over things like that, but I did this time. Tyler was supportive and helpful while I agonized over our two choices. I could almost hear him thinking, "I-love-her-but-this-girl-is-a-little-crazy" but he was sweet enough not to say it out loud.
We got the invitations in the mail a few days ago and they're lovely, exactly what I wanted. We got them from Minted (http://www.minted.com/) which has a wide variety of wedding invitations, (and paper products for other occasions) and I particularly liked getting them there, because the website gets all their products from a variety of different artists. I like supporting artists.
Hopefully when I'm poor and begging someone to accept my novel, someone will help me.
